How Alpha Radar Scores Work
26 technical indicators are evaluated across 4 categories for every stock:
- Moving Averages (8 signals): Price vs SMA 20/50/200, EMA 9/21, crossovers — each scored +1 (bullish) or -1 (bearish)
- Oscillators (8 signals): RSI, Stochastic, CCI, Williams %R, MFI, TRIX, TSI — with overbought/oversold zones
- Trend (6 signals): ADX direction, SuperTrend, Parabolic SAR, Awesome Oscillator, SMA Slope, Alligator
- Volume (4 signals): OBV, Chaikin Money Flow, Force Index, Elder Ray
Technical Score (0–100) = MA 30% + Oscillators 25% + Trend 30% + Volume 15%
Opinion Score (-4 to +4) maps the technical score to a directional opinion: Strong Buy (≥2.5), Buy (≥1.0), Neutral (≥-1.0), Sell (≥-2.5), Strong Sell (<-2.5).
Power Rating (0–100) combines Technical (40%) + Moat Score (15%) + Piotroski F-Score (10%) + Analyst Consensus (10%) + Convergence Signals (10%) + Momentum (15%).
