In addition, it sells pre-owned cars. The company was formerly known as H.L.C.S.P.E Empreendimentos e Participações S.A. and changed its name to Movida Participações S.A. in December 2014. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. Movida Participações S.A. is a subsidiary of Simpar S.A.
