How this data was produced. 575 transactions came from machine-readable filings. 8,898 came from scanned, image-only PDFs read with a vision model — every row of those was checked against the form’s own structure (the ten legal amount brackets, a date no later than the filing, a sequential row index) and anything failing was withheld rather than published. Of 6,998 equity and fund positions, 6,552 resolved to a ticker (5,438 exact, 824 fuzzy). Bonds and municipals are not forced onto an equity ticker.

Where the activity sits

Every security with a resolved ticker, sized by how often it was traded and coloured by whether purchases or sales dominated.

No securities to map.

By filer

The same view across officials rather than securities.

No filers to map.

What preceded each trade

For every transaction with a resolved ticker, the security’s return over the sessions before the disclosed date. If purchases systematically follow declines that is dip-buying; if they follow advances, momentum. If buys and sells look the same, that is evidence against a discretionary trigger — which is itself a finding.

Transaction clustering

Days carrying five or more disclosed transactions. A filing that places dozens of trades on a single date behaves very differently from one spread across a month.

Price movement since disclosure

How each security moved between the disclosed transaction date and today. This is not profit and loss. These filings report a dollar bracket, never a share count or an execution price, so an actual gain or loss cannot be derived from them — only how the security itself moved.
