It also facilitates auto, education, and point-of-sale financing, complemented by digital-first deposit products. Conversely, the Commercial Banking segment delivers sophisticated financial products and services specifically designed for businesses and institutions. Its portfolio includes lending and leasing arrangements, treasury and deposit management solutions, foreign exchange services, and instruments for managing interest rate and commodity risks. Additionally, it specializes in syndicated loans, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and capital markets services for debt and equity. This division supports a broad spectrum of industries, including government bodies, non-profit organizations, healthcare, technology, professional services, oil and gas, various asset finance sectors, franchise finance, asset-based lending, commercial real estate, private equity, and sponsor finance. Citizens Financial Group maintains a significant physical presence, operating approximately 1,200 branch locations spanning 14 states and the District of Columbia. The company also manages 114 non-branch retail and commercial offices in national markets and supports its customer base with roughly 3,300 automated teller machines. Established in 1828, Citizens Financial Group, Inc. was previously known as RBS Citizens Financial Group, Inc. before officially adopting its current name in April 2014. Its corporate headquarters are located in Providence, Rhode Island.
