About Epizyme, Inc.

Epizyme, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical enterprise that operates at a commercial level, dedicated to discovering, advancing, and bringing to market innovative epigenetic therapies for individuals battling cancer and other medical conditions across the United States. Its flagship commercial product is Tazemetostat, prescribed for the management of metastatic or locally advanced epithelioid sarcoma in both adult and pediatric populations. Beyond this, Epizyme is actively engaged in developing several other therapeutic candidates. These include R-CHOP for initial treatment in patients suffering from high-risk diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and a PARP inhibitor targeting solid tumors that have become resistant to other PARP inhibitors, encompassing conditions like castration-resistant prostate cancer and small cell lung cancer. Furthermore, the company is exploring additional applications for Tazemetostat in treating INI1-negative tumors in both children and adults. Its pipeline also features a PRMT5 inhibitor intended for solid tumors and a PRMT1 inhibitor. Epizyme maintains strategic alliances and collaborative agreements with various partners, such as Roche Molecular Systems, Inc., the Lymphoma Academic Research Organization, Eisai Co. Ltd., HUTCHMED (China) Limited, and Roche Sequencing Solutions, Inc. Founded in 2007, the company's corporate headquarters are situated in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since August 11, 2022, Epizyme, Inc. has operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc.
