About Getlink SE

Getlink SE, previously known as Groupe Eurotunnel S.E. until its rebranding in April 2018, is a company dedicated to the conceptualization, funding, construction, and operation of major fixed infrastructure links and their associated transportation systems. The enterprise's activities are organized into three primary divisions: Eurotunnel, Europorte, and ElecLink. The Eurotunnel segment is responsible for managing three distinct tunnels, each approximately 50 kilometers long, situated beneath the English Channel. It also oversees the operational terminals located at Folkestone in the UK and Coquelles in France. A key service provided by this division is a passenger shuttle, facilitating the transport of various vehicles, including lorries, automobiles, recreational vehicles, caravans, coaches, and motorcycles. Additionally, Eurotunnel manages high-speed passenger rail services, freight trains, and the maintenance of all related fixed equipment and installations. Europorte delivers a comprehensive range of integrated rail freight services. These offerings span national and international haulage, specialized local services for secondary rail lines, individual railway junction administration, infrastructure upkeep, and both wagon loading and unloading solutions. The ElecLink division focuses on the development and operation of a 1-gigawatt electricity interconnector that bridges the United Kingdom and France. Beyond these core operations, Getlink SE also engages in various other ventures, such as third-party retail, telecommunications cabling, training initiatives, property management, and the distribution of travel insurance products. Founded in 1986, Getlink SE maintains its corporate headquarters in Paris, France.
