Himadri also provides carbon materials like coke granules and powder, and both synthetic and natural graphite powder, specifically tailored for power battery applications. The chemical offerings encompass carbon black; naphthalene flakes and refined naphthalene used in dyes, intermediates, and mothballs; poly carboxylate ether; and sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde, vital for concrete, agricultural, rubber, and gypsum board manufacturing. The company additionally produces anti-corrosion products for diverse industrial environments including chemical factories, marine vessels, water treatment facilities, and breweries. Its specialty oils segment features light creosote, wash/gas scrubbing oils, phenyl grade, wood preservative/creosote, anthracene, carbon black oil, and fuel oils, in addition to coal flow and bulk density enhancers, BTX products, and industrial solvents. Furthermore, Himadri generates electricity by harnessing waste gas. These diverse products are crucial components across numerous industries, including lithium-ion batteries, aluminum, graphite, infrastructure, tires, mechanical rubber goods, plastics, and dyes and intermediaries. The company, originally incorporated in 1987, was formerly known as Himadri Chemicals & Industries Limited, adopting its current name in July 2016.
