Repsol innovates in materials science by developing nanoparticles and nanofibers for material, energy, and biomedical applications, implements blockchain technology across the retail, energy, and automotive industries, manufactures synthetic oil cloths, invests in liquefaction plant projects, and manages water treatment technologies. Originally known as Repsol YPF, S.A., the company adopted its current name, Repsol, S.A., in May 2012.
