About TC Energy Corporation

TC Energy Corporation operates as a prominent energy infrastructure company across North America. Established in Calgary, Canada, in 1951 and previously known as TransCanada Corporation until its renaming in May 2019, the company's operations are segmented into Canadian, U.S., and Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines, Liquids Pipelines, and Power and Storage. It constructs and manages an extensive 93,300 km network of natural gas pipelines, transporting gas from its origins to diverse clients such as local distribution companies, power generation plants, industrial facilities, connecting pipelines, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals. The firm also oversees regulated natural gas storage facilities with a total operational capacity of 535 billion cubic feet. Furthermore, its liquids pipeline system, approximately 4,900 km long, connects Alberta crude oil supplies to major refining hubs in Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, and along the U.S. Gulf Coast. TC Energy holds ownership or stakes in seven power generation sites, collectively generating about 4,300 megawatts through natural gas and nuclear fuel, situated in Alberta, Ontario, Québec, and New Brunswick. In Alberta, it additionally manages roughly 118 billion cubic feet of non-regulated natural gas storage capacity.
