It also offers various beverages, ready-to-eat meals, and an extensive selection of confectioneries like chocolates, gummy products, and chewing gums. Nutritional offerings within this segment comprise sports nutrition products, infant formula, liquid dietary supplements, and beauty-focused supplements. Additionally, it provides essential ingredients like corn sweeteners and sugar, animal feed, and crucial transportation and distribution services. The Pharmaceutical segment is dedicated to the development and commercialization of medications, including treatments for infectious diseases and central nervous system disorders, alongside a portfolio of generic and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. This division also serves as a significant provider of human and animal vaccines, blood plasma products, and a range of agricultural and livestock chemicals. For veterinary applications, Meiji offers a comprehensive suite of products for livestock and fisheries, featuring antimicrobial injections, disinfectants, oral medications, insecticides, dewormers, pain relievers, anti-inflammatory agents, hemostatic compounds, and breeding aids. Furthermore, it produces insecticides, metabolites, feed additives, and blended feeds, alongside specialized health solutions for companion animals, such as anesthetics, painkillers, anti-parasitic and gastrointestinal drugs, antibacterial agents, antiplasmin agents, vitamin E preparations, and dietary supplements.
