Further services include foreign exchange capabilities, diverse investment products like government, retail, and corporate bonds, and transactional derivatives. BNIFX, a proprietary web-based platform, enables direct digital foreign exchange transactions with BNI's treasury specialists. The bank also facilitates local currency settlements and a full spectrum of trade finance services, such as import and export letters of credit (both documentary and non-documentary), standby letters of credit, bill collection financing, open account financing, and "BNI Trade Online" for submitting trade transaction requests digitally. Its diverse client base spans critical sectors including agriculture, telecommunications, food and beverage, oil and gas, mining, chemicals, construction, electricity, and wholesale and retail. As of December 31, 2021, the company maintained a substantial presence, operating 195 primary domestic branches, 1,097 sub-branches, and 874 additional service points. Internationally, it managed five overseas branches located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, and Seoul, complemented by a representative office in New York.
