Cleanaway Waste Management Limited, an Australian company headquartered in Melbourne and established in 2002, delivers comprehensive waste management, industrial, and environmental services throughout Australia. The organization structures its operations into three primary divisions: Solid Waste Services, Industrial & Waste Services, and Liquid Waste & Health Services. Through its Solid Waste Services, Cleanaway handles the collection of various solid waste streams, including general refuse, recyclables, and construction or demolition materials, catering to residential, municipal, and commercial/industrial sectors. This segment is also responsible for owning and managing critical infrastructure like waste transfer stations, resource recovery and recycling facilities, secure product destruction operations, quarantine treatment centers, and landfills. A further activity involves the sale of recovered commodities such as paper, cardboard, metals, and plastics. The Liquid Waste & Health Services division focuses on the collection, treatment, processing, and recycling of a broad spectrum of liquid and hazardous wastes. This includes industrial waste, grease trap waste, oily waters, and used mineral and cooking oils, supplied in both packaged and bulk formats. A significant aspect of its work includes refining used mineral oils to create fuel oils and base oils, as well as providing services for health and biohazardous waste, organic waste, and e-waste recycling. Finally, the Industrial & Waste Services segment offers a suite of specialized industrial solutions. These encompass services like industrial cleaning, vacuum tanker loading, site remediation, sludge management, parts washing, concrete remediation, CCTV inspections, and corrosion protection. The company also provides emergency response, industrial construction and cleaning, and equipment cleaning services, along with supplying spill kits. Complementing these services, Cleanaway generates and sells electricity by utilizing landfill gas. These diverse offerings serve a wide array of industries. Originally incorporated as Transpacific Industries Group Ltd., the company rebranded as Cleanaway Waste Management Limited in February 2016.
