Its diverse lending portfolio features commercial and industrial loans, commercial and residential real estate mortgages, automobile financing, and loans backed by the cash surrender value of life insurance. Valley National also provides home equity loans and credit lines, as well as other secured and unsecured consumer loans. The company strategically invests in various securities and interest-bearing deposits with other banks. For international clients, it offers services like standby and documentary letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, documentary collections, international wire transfers, and transaction accounts for non-resident aliens. Furthermore, the company furnishes investment services for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses, alongside trusts and custom-tailored investment strategies for a range of retirement plans. Its comprehensive trust offerings include living and testamentary trusts, investment management, custodial and escrow services, and estate administration. Additional services comprise tax credit advisory, a full spectrum of insurance agency services (property, casualty, life, health, and title), healthcare equipment lending, other commercial equipment leasing, and real estate-related investments. Customers benefit from modern conveniences such as online, mobile, and telephone banking, overdraft protection, drive-in and night deposit options, ATMs, remote deposit capture, and safe deposit boxes. As of December 31, 2021, Valley National Bancorp operated 232 branch locations across New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Alabama. The company was founded in 1927 and maintains its headquarters in New York, New York.
