Webster Financial Corporation, which serves as the holding company for Webster Bank, National Association, delivers a broad spectrum of banking, investment, and financial services to individuals, families, and businesses across the United States. Its business is organized into three primary segments: Commercial Banking, HSA Bank, and Retail Banking. The Commercial Banking division provides a full suite of lending, deposit, and cash management solutions. This includes commercial and industrial loans and leases, commercial real estate financing, equipment loans, asset-based lending, and comprehensive treasury and payment services. This segment also offers wealth management services for business owners, operators, and individual consumers, with solutions encompassing trust services, asset management, financial planning, insurance, retirement strategies, and various investment products. HSA Bank specializes in health savings accounts (HSAs), health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), and commuter benefits. These offerings are provided directly to employers and individual clients, and are also channeled through national and regional insurance providers, consultants, and financial advisors. The Retail Banking segment serves individual consumers with deposit and fee-based services, residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, secured and unsecured personal loans, and credit cards. Furthermore, the company provides robust online and mobile banking platforms. As of December 31, 2021, Webster Financial operated a network of 130 banking centers and 251 automated teller machines. Established in 1935, the corporation maintains its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
